*UPDATE We have enough skiers that we can take 3 busses. We have many seats available and hope that more skiers sign up for the trip. Because we have added the third bus we will waive the late fee if skiers get their payment in before November 6. *

OUR ANNUAL TRIP TO WEST YELLOWSTONE OVER THANKSGIVING WEEK IS ON.
Information:
• We leave Ordean East Middle School (2900 East Fourth Street, Duluth, MN 55812) at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 17.
• Have a bag dinner with you – we will not be stopping for dinner.
• We will stop for a quick breakfast on Saturday morning – indicate your preference on the sign-up sheet
• Arrive West Yellowstone Saturday afternoon.
• Leave West Yellowstone about 5:00 p.m. on Friday
• Arrive Duluth late morning on Saturday, November 25.
• This year the trip costs $875 ($975 if received after Oct. 27):
• This trip has filled up in the past. We will fill the busses on a first paid – first reserved basis. Your seat will be reserved when we receive your down payment.
You must have been on your HS ski team at least one year and be in 9th grade or above. These requirements are waived if a responsible adult comes along or Bonnie OKs it.

Hello Skiers and Parents,

The 2023 – 2024 ski season is approaching fast. We hope you has a great summer and are ready for a great ski season (with as much or more snow as last year.

Your coaches this year will be the same as last year, Bonnie, Dave, Mark, Nona and Patti and we are looking forward to having you all back on the team along with many new skiers (i.e. talk to your friends and let them know the Duluth East Nordic Ski Team is a great place to be during the winter!)

The first day of team practice is Monday, November 13. Watch for information on team meeting and parent’s meeting dates in the last half of October.

We also will be taking our annual trip to West Yellowstone again this winter. Watch for information coming out in the next week or two.

In the mean time keep in shape with your favorite training and we will see you soon.

We will have an Awards Gathering to celebrate all of you East Nordic Skiers!

You and your family are invited to a gathering in the Duluth East Auditorium on Tuesday, February 28 at 6:30 p.m.

We will honor our Seniors and their Parents.

The awards that will be given out include:
East Letters
Team Awards: Most Improved, Most Team Spirit, Rookie Skier of the Year, Most Valuable Skier, Captains Awards

Next year’s Captains will also be announced
